St. Paul's Maternity Care Clinic

After your baby is born, we will see you and your baby for 6 weeks after birth. This is usually one visit in the first several days after delivery, a visit at 1-2 weeks and then a visit at 4-6 weeks after birth. However, it may be more frequent if you or your baby need more care.

We are lucky at St. Paul’s to have amazing relationship with other medical specialists should you need their care during pregnancy. Most of this care is done in the same building as your clinic. Some other people you may see during your pregnancy or after birth include an obstetrician, dietician, medical specialists (endocrinologists, internal medicine doctors, cardiologists etc.), pediatricians, breastfeeding medicine physician, lactation consultant, social worker, reproductive mental health team (psychiatrist, nurses and counsellors).
