Tinnitus Clinic

The Tinnitus Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital provides therapy to people who suffer from tinnitus and/or hyperacusis (sound intolerance). We offer a three-hour group session where patients learn how to manage tinnitus and hyperacusis. The group session is facilitated by an audiologist that specializes in tinnitus care. Participants needing more help can arrange for individual appointments with the audiologist after attending the group.

To make an appointment with the tinnitus clinic, patients should have their Otolaryngologist (ENT) consult letter and a recent hearing test (done within that last 6 months) faxed to the Audiology Department at the number below. After receiving these documents, the Tinnitus Clinic clerk will mail out a letter that outlines costs and other details about the Clinic. After receiving the letter, patients can call to book a time to come to the group session.

Please note that this service is not covered by the Medical Services Plan of BC. A fee will be applied depending on the service provided.
