Our hospitals
Our hospitals are hubs of innovation and caring, attracting talent worldwide.
Providence Health Care operates several hospitals in the Vancouver area and we're always looking for clinicians and staff who are attracted by our reputation for innovation, excellence and compassion.
All are conveniently located on or near transit corridors.
St. Paul's Hospital
Our flagship provincial site, St. Paul’s Hospital, is a world-class acute care, teaching and research hospital located in downtown Vancouver.
It is home to many high acuity medical and surgical services including heart, lung, kidney care, as well as a busy maternity program, general intensive care and cardiac intensive-care units, highly specialized mental health and substance use programs, and a 24-hour emergency department.
Note that a brand new St. Paul's Hospital will open on Station Street in 2027.
Mount Saint Joseph Hospital
Mount Saint Joseph Hospital is an acute care hospital serving the Vancouver area as well as offering long-term care spaces.
Mount Saint Joseph Hospital is home to one of two emergency departments operated by Providence and also offers acute care, outpatient care services and a full range of diagnostic services.
Holy Family Hospital
In addition to being an extended care home, Providence offers rehabilitation services at Holy Family Hospital, including a 65-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and extensive treatment areas that facilitate more than 15,000 outpatient visits annually. Patients are referred to Holy Family Hospital from all over the province for this highly specialized care.
