Long COVID
An overview of Providence Health Care’s services and resources for patients experiencing long COVID.
Overview
Long COVID describes a group of symptoms and complications that affects some people after they have had COVID-19. It is sometimes called post-COVID or post-COVID condition.
Common symptoms of long COVID include brain fog, fatigue, and breathlessness. Researchers have identified up to 200 different symptoms of long COVID. In general, these symptoms are severe enough to impact your day-to-day activities.
Many people with long COVID notice their symptoms get worse if they do too much or push themselves too hard.
Researchers are still studying long COVID to determine what causes it.

Treatment & management

By taking part in research, you can help us all learn more about advancing health outcomes and find better ways to help people live and thrive. While you cannot assume benefit to yourself, your participation can make a difference in improving care for future patients.
The following clinical trials are currently enrolling volunteers. Please ask your care team for more information or contact the research team listed on each study or trial. For other information about research at Providence Health Care, please visit Providence Research.
