Preparing for your visit
Patients must be referred to the Heart Rhythm Device Clinic by their physician or health care provider.
What to bring
- Your BC Services Card
- A list of all current medications, including herbal supplements
Cancellation policy
Need to cancel or change your appointment? Call the clinic within 48 hours of your appointment. This allows us time to schedule other patients.
If you feel unwell and your symptoms worsen, please see your practitioner or visit the Emergency Department.
Common cardiac medical tests

Common tests for people with a heart device include Cardiac ultrasound (Echo), Monitors, Exercise Stress Tests, and ECGs.
Transportation & parking
Remember to allow time (approximately 30 minutes) before your appointment to get from your car or transit to the clinic area. If you are new to the clinic and need directions when you arrive at St. Paul’s Hospital, ask a volunteer or reception for directions to our front door. Please remember the name of the clinic to get the best assistance.
There is paid street parking in the area and a parking lot at the site.
