Preparing for your visit

Don't take any antihistamines (including cold preparations) 5 days prior to the appointment. Antihistamines include:

  • Benadryl (Diphenhydramine)
  • Reactine (Cetirizine)
  • Claritin (Loratadine)
  • Blexten (Bilastine)
  • Rupall (Rupatadine)
  • Aerius (Desloratadine)
  • Allegra (Fexofenadine)
  • Pepcid (Famotidine)
  • Dymista nasal spray (Azelastine/Fluticasone)

If you have any infectious symptoms, please reschedule your appointment. These symptoms can include fevers, chills, sore throat, or cough. Masks are mandatory in the clinic.

Transportation & parking

Remember to allow time (approximately 30 minutes) before your appointment to get from your car or transit to the clinic area. If you are new to the clinic and need directions when you arrive at St. Paul’s Hospital, ask a volunteer or reception for directions to our front door. Please remember the name of the clinic to get the best assistance.
