Tony Wan

Dr. Wan completed his internal medicine residency and general internal medicine fellowship at UBC before he went to Ottawa to complete a clinical fellowship in adult thrombosis medicine. 

In his role as the outpatient service lead of the Providence Health Care Medicine Program, Dr. Wan oversees numerous outpatient clinics at St. Paul’s Hospital and Mount Saint Joseph Hospital.

Dr. Wan was instrumental in the creation of the accredited adult thrombosis medicine AFC fellowship program at UBC. 

Dr. Wan is a member of Thrombosis Canada and he collaborates with researchers across the country in venous thromboembolism research.
