Paul Brown

Paul Brown was appointed as a Society Member in June, 2021. He was a member of the Providence Health Care Board from June, 2015 to June, 2021.

Paul is a senior lawyer at Owen Bird Law Corporation, a highly successful Vancouver law firm founded in 1969. He has been an integral part of building the firm for over 25 years, acting as a managing partner, participating on hiring committees and mentoring young lawyers. His practice reflects his broader interests, including complex commercial real estate, business and corporate transactions for both domestic and international clients. His passion for the law and attention to detail have made him a favourite among his clients.

Paul was born at St. Paul’s Hospital and was raised and educated in Vancouver. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Juris Doctor (Doctor of Jurisprudence), both from UBC. Paul enjoys being active, playing and coaching basketball, skiing, spending time with his wife, and keeping up with his two teenage children.
