Lois Macoy

Lois joined the PHC Ethics Services team in April 2023 as the Ethics Services Facilitator and MAiD Response Advisor. She completed a Joint Major (BA) in Philosophy and Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University and a Master of Science (MSc) in Bioethics at the University of Mary. Prior to joining the Ethics Services team at PHC, Lois worked in various leadership, education, and administrative roles for non-profit organizations, most recently in the field of Adult Services, supporting adults with developmental disabilities as well as their families in the Metro Vancouver region. Lois is particularly passionate about end-of-life care and the intersectionality of social justice, virtue, and morals in health care.
