Dr. Shannon Lockhart

Dr. Shannon Lockhart is a consultant anesthesiologist with Providence Health Care with interests in simulation and human factors. She has a certificate in Clinical Human Factors from the University of Edinburgh, did her medical training and residency at UBC, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in World Religions at McGill University. She is currently the Simulation Lead for the Department of Anesthesia as well as Medical Co-Lead of the Providence Health Care Simulation Program with Dr. Jeanne MacLeod.

Prior to medical school, Shannon also studied business administration and played varsity basketball. She is a mother of two young children which means they are her current hobbies. She also enjoys trail running and camping in the forests of BC.
