Dr. Jeanne MacLeod (on leave)

Dr. Jeanne MacLeod is currently the Medical Director, Co-Lead for PHC Simulation with Dr. Shannon Lockhart. Jeanne presently works in the Emergency Departments of St. Paul’s and Mount Saint Joseph’s hospitals.

Jeanne has a strong interest in using simulation as an educational tool for both undergraduate and post-graduate learners at UBC. In addition, Jeanne has an interest in using simulation for interprofessional training. She has been involved in using simulation to help train staff teams in the initiation of ECMO in the Emergency Department. She is also the Simulation Co-Lead for the BC Emergency Network.

Jeanne immigrated from Scotland at age nine and still loves all things Scottish (except haggis)! She enjoys sailing the beautiful BC coastal waters in the summer and back country skiing in the winter.
