Chelle, originally from the prairies (Treaty 4 & 6 territories), completed her BA in Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. Before pursuing social work, she worked for several community organizations in the areas of outreach support, program development and facilitation, and research and policy analysis. She then moved to BC to obtain a Master of Social Work degree from the University of British Columbia. From 2019 onward, Chelle has worked for PHC in Acute and Critical Care settings, as well as Access & Flow to support complex discharges. Chelle joined the Ethics Services team in March 2023 in the role of MAiD Response Lead and Ethics Services Engagement Leader. In her free time, Chelle enjoys reading, community organizing, and playing outdoors with her toddler and family.
