Dr. Dau completed his MD undergraduate degree and core internal medicine residency at UBC. As part of his general internal medicine fellowship, he completed one year of training in thrombosis medicine at UBC and the University of Ottawa. He works full time at St. Paul’s Hospital as general internist and thrombosis specialist. He has a particular interest in medical education.
He is currently education lead at the St. Paul’s Hospital Thrombosis Clinic and will be acting program director of the UBC Thrombosis Medicine fellowship program estimated to start in July 2024. He has a particular interest in anticoagulant management of pregnant women with mechanical heart valves.
