Yes, eligible candidates recruited into eligible Difficult to Fill Vacancies will be eligible for the Incentive Payment pro-rated based on the FTE that they hold.

Note: The amount of the Incentive Payment is determined based on the FTE of the Employee’s initial Difficult to Fill Vacancy position and is not adjusted to reflect any changes to the Difficult to Fill Vacancy position during the Employee’s return of service. 

If an Employee does not remain in a Difficult to Fill position that has at least the same or more FTE as the initial Difficult to Fill Vacancy position for 24 months from the date of hire, the Employee will be responsible for repayment to the Employer on a pro-rated basis. The repayment is based on what the Employee has already worked. For example, if an Employee received the $15,000 Urban and Metro Area Incentive and they worked for only 12 months in a 1.0 FTE Difficult to Fill position, their repayment would be $7,500.
