Adult Bleeding Disorders Program - Outreach locations

Held on a designated date in the spring and fall at Kelowna General Hospital, 5th Floor, Strathcona Building.

Directions to Clinic

Please enter the Hospital via the Main Patient Entrance on Pandosy Street and proceed to the Strathcona Building. Take the Strathcona Building elevators up to the fifth Floor.

On the fifth floor, turn left off of the elevator and check in with us at the Women’s Service Clinic front desk.

Lab

Located on the first floor of the Walter Anderson Building.

Directions from Strathcona Building: Take the elevator down to the 1st Floor and walk towards Main Entrance. Take the Centennial Elevators up to 3rd Floor. Walk across the Skybridge to the Walter Anderson Building and take the elevators to the 1st Floor - 1Rear.

Parking

Public parking at Kelowna General Hospital is available in the following locations:

• The bottom two split levels in the east parkade attached to the new UBC building
• The surface parking area off Abbot Street on the lakeside of the hospital (behind rehab)

Held on a designated date, annually at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital

Directions

• Enter through Main Entrance
• Follow signs to Home Dialysis Unit in the Perinatal Wing – Main Floor
• Parking Machines are located inside building entrances and at most lots.

Held on a designated date annually at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia

Directions

• Enter hospital through the Main Entrance
• Turn left and proceed to the end of the hallway
• Turn right to get to the elevators
• Take the elevator up to the 5th floor
• Once you are on the 5th floor, take the hallway to the right to the end where you will see the Northern Medical Program Clinic sign
• Check in with the front desk for your appointment with the Adult Bleeding Disorders Program of BC/Yukon

Please allow extra time prior to your appointment in order to locate appropriate parking.

Public parking at the University Hospital of Northern BC is available in the following locations:

• Pay parking surrounding the hospital
• You may be able to find free parking on streets close by
• Parking pay stations accept credit cards

Directions

Enter the hospital at the Main entrance off Hospital Way. Proceed north down the hall towards the North Tower. Once you reach the elevator banks, turn left towards the grey doors and enter the Child and Family Ambulatory Care Unit (CFAU). Once inside turn right down the hall (signs will be posted) to a waiting area where you can have a seat and someone will greet you momentarily.

Parking rates are $2.50 for every two hours. Please remember to allow extra time prior to your appointment in order to locate appropriate parking.
