The Heart Centre at St. Paul’s Hospital is British Columbia’s only comprehensive referral centre for patients with heart disease, a major teaching facility for cardiac professionals and a leader in understanding and treating heart disease.

Institute for Heart and Lung Health
The Institute for Heart and Lung Health (IHLH), based at St. Paul’s Hospital, embraces heart and lung researchers, clinical innovators, and trainees from across British Columbia, as well as collaborators around the world. We span organizational, disciplinary, sectoral, and geographical boundaries, and our research reaches from molecules through to populations. We bring synergy, a wide range of efficiencies, and a higher plane of performance and impact in furthering heart and lung health, as well as addressing the global burdens of heart and lung diseases.
